We are pleased to announce that the Conservation Grazing Network Europe Erasmus+ project will be presented at the 15th European Conference on Ecological Restoration (SERE 2026), taking place in Brest, France, from 24–28 August 2026.
SERE 2026 brings together researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and restoration professionals from across Europe and beyond to exchange knowledge, discuss the latest developments in ecological restoration, and strengthen collaboration.
If you are attending the conference, we would be delighted to welcome you to Special Session 13: Grazing as a Conservation and Restoration Tool.
The session combines scientific insights with practical experience, exploring the role of grazing in nature conservation and ecological restoration. Presentations will cover topics including the importance of herbivores in shaping European landscapes, the contribution of extensive grazing systems to biodiversity conservation, the European policy context, and practical approaches to achieving positive conservation outcomes through grazing. The programme includes presentations from experts at the European Environment Agency (EEA) and the Black Forest National Park, as well as interactive discussions on knowledge exchange and future collaboration.

We will introduce the Conservation Grazing Network Europe Erasmus+ project and showcase the ConGrazeNet Forum.
